The Dorset Diaspora:
Emigration from Dorset through the ages
Postponed from February 3, 2007
To celebrate the 400th anniversary
of the establishment of the American Colonies
the Dorset Local History Group is organising
a Saturday Day School at the Dorset County Museum, Dorchester.
It is intended to provide an introduction to some of the themes and issues
in the study of the emigration.
This event is ideal for those interested in local history
or had ancestors who emigrated from Dorset.
